From the East (Hartford)
I-84 to exit 21 (Meadow Street)
Straight off ramp bearing right onto Meadow St.
Right at 3rd light (West Main Street)
Follow general directions below*

From the South (Bridgeport)
Route 8 to exit 32
Straight ahead past Freight Street
Right at 2nd light onto West Main Street
Follow general directions below*

From the West (Danbury)
I-84 to exit 21 (Meadow Street)
Right at end of ramp (at light)
Right at 4th light (West Main Street)

From the North (Torrington)
Route 8 to West Main Street exit
Left at light onto West Main Street

*General Directions
As you continue on West Main Street approaching the Green, you will pass a gas station on your right. You will see a large statue and a traffic island in the middle of the road; get into the middle lane facing the traffic light on the left. Go left around the back of the statue. Immediately turn left, onto Park Place, between the museum and the YMCA.

Parking
Visitors may park directly behind the museum. Public parking lots are also located on Park Place behind the YMCA.


Museum Hours
Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sundays 12 noon - 5:00 p.m.

Suggested Admission
Museum Members: Free
Adults 16 and older: $4
Children under 16: Free


Catering and Events
The museum makes a dramatic backdrop for weddings, receptions, bar/bat mitvahs, corporate events, parties and more. To inquire about availability and fees, contact Marie Galbraith at 203-753-0381 ext. 17. The café at the Mattatuck is temporarily closed.
