Looking south on Central Park West. Lots of street vendors plying their goods. I bargained a $10 hotdog down to $5. Still expensive, but was actually pretty good, and I didn't get sick.

Entrance to New York Historical Society. They own all 400+ of the Audubon originals which were printed as his Birds of America. About a third of them were on exhibit during our visit. The originals are more vivid than even the best prints, but the exhibit was slightly disappointing in that the lighting was very dim (in order to preserve the pictures).

This duck was trying as hard as he could to stand on one foot and scratch his butt with the other. I don't think he had much luck. Soon he swam off to join other ducks. It's against the rules for people to feed the animals, and it appeared most people were obeying.
